Ramadan Moon Sighting Dua
اللَّهُمَّ أهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالإِسْلَامِ
Translation: "O Allah, make the crescent appear upon us with goodness, faith, peace, and Islam."
Dua for Fasting - Sehri Dua
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي نَوَيْتُ الصِّيَامَ غَدًا لِكُلِّ فَرْضٍ وَنَحْلِهِ لَكَ
Translation: "O Allah, I intend to fast tomorrow for all obligatory fasts and those which You will make easy for me."
Dua for Breaking Fast - Iftar Dua
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Translation: "The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills."
Dua for Someone who provides you Iftar
اللَّهُمَّ اجْزِهِ عَنَّا خَيْرًا
Translation: "O Allah, reward them with good on our behalf."
Dua for the first 10 days of Ramadan - 1st Ashra Dua
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا فِي هَذِهِ العَشْرَةِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ وَالعِتْقِ مِنَ النَّارِ
Translation: "O Allah, make us among those who receive mercy, forgiveness, and salvation from the Fire during these ten days."
Dua for the Second Ashra - 2nd Ashra Dua
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا فِي هَذِهِ العَشْرَةِ مِنَ المُغْفَرِينَ وَالْمُرْحَمِينَ
Translation: "O Allah, make us among those who are forgiven and recipients of mercy during these ten days."
Dua for the last 10 days of Ramadan - 3rd Ashra Dua
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا فِي هَذِهِ العَشْرَةِ مِنَ العَتِيقِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ
Translation: "O Allah, make us among those who are freed from the Fire during these ten days."
Dua for Laylatul Qadr
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ العَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Translation: "O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me."
Dua after finishing a meal
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا
Translation: "O Allah, bless it for us, forgive us, and have mercy on us."
Dua after leaving toilet
غُفْرَانَكَ
Translation: "I ask for Your forgiveness."
Remembrance after prayer
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Translation: "Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, and Allah is the Greatest."
Dua after rainfall
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Translation: "O Allah, make it beneficial rain."
Dua after Salah Tasbeeh
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Translation: "Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, and Allah is the Greatest."
Dua after Takbeer (Start of prayer)
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Translation: "Allah is the Greatest."
Dua after Tashahhud
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Translation: "O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad."
Dua for asking Allah to grant you a child
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Translation: "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a pure offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication."
Dua at Arafat
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ جَنَّةً وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ وَعَمَلٍ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ وَعَمَلٍ
Translation: "O Allah, I ask You for Jannah and whatever brings me closer to it in words or actions. I seek refuge in You from the Fire and whatever brings me closer to it in words or actions."
Dua at the end of a Gathering/Majlis
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
Translation: "Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise. I bear witness that there is no deity except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance."
Dua at times of worry and sorrow
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ
Translation: "O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, and son of Your maidservant. My forehead is in Your hand, and Your judgment upon me is certain and Your decree upon me is just."
Dua before entering toilet
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Translation: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils."
Dua before sleeping
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Translation: "In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live."
Dua before starting anything
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Translation: "In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power or strength except with Allah."
Darood-e-Ibraheemi
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَّجِيدٌ
Translation: "O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious."
Dua e Qunoot (recited in Witr prayer)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْهِ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِهِ
Translation: "O Allah, we seek Your help, forgiveness, and guidance. We believe in You, and we place our trust in You."
Dua during a windstorm
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ هَذِهِ الرِّيحِ وَخَيْرِ مَا فِيهَا وَخَيْرِ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ
Translation: "O Allah, I ask You for the good of this wind, the good of what is in it, and the good of what it was sent with. I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what is in it, and the evil of what it was sent with."
Dua during Ruku (bowing down in prayer)
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ
Translation: "Glory is to my Lord, the Almighty."
Evening remembrance
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ وَلَهُ وَلَهُ وَحْدَهُ
Translation: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, There is no deity except Allah alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He is capable of all things."
Everyday Duas
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي فِيمَنْ شَكَرَ لَك
Translation: "O Allah, make me among those who thank You."
Dua for a blissful family
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ
Translation: "O Allah, make us from the people of the household (blessed family)."
Dua for a healthy life
اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنَا بِصِحَّةٍ وَسَعَادَةٍ
Translation: "O Allah, grant us life with good health and happiness."
Dua for accommodation
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي فِي بَيْتِي سَكَنًا وَرَحْمَةً
Translation: "O Allah, make my house a place of peace and mercy."
Dua for asking forgiveness for yourself and anyone who enters your house
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِي
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me and those who enter my house."
Dua for being grateful to Allah
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ لِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, make me among those who are grateful to You."
Dua for controlling your anger
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي صَابِرًا فِي وَجْهِ غَضَبِي
Translation: "O Allah, make me patient in the face of my anger."
Dua for curbing fear
اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا فَزَعًا
Translation: "O Allah, do not make fear enter our hearts."
Dua for fear of committing Shirk
اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي مِنَ الشِّرْكِ وَالْبِدَعِ
Translation: "O Allah, protect me from shirk (associating partners with You) and innovations (bid'ah)."
Dua for forgiveness
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, and provide for me."
Dua for forgiveness and Allah's mercy
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, and provide for me."
Dua for forgiveness for your parents and all Muslims
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمُؤْمِنِينَ وَمُؤْمِنَاتِ
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me, my parents, and all believing men and women."

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Translation: "Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings."
Dua for Istikhara
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي استخيرُكَ بعِلمِكَ واستقدِرُكَ بقدرتِكَ واسالكَ من فضلِكَ العظيِمِ
Translation: "O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek Your power by Your ability, and I ask You for Your great favor."
Dua for Jannah
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
Translation: "O Allah, make me among the people of Jannah."
Dua for Justice
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَىٰ قَضَاءِ حَقِّي وَحَقِّ الْعِبَادِ
Translation: "O Allah, help me in fulfilling my rights and the rights of Your servants."
Dua for leaving everything in the hands of Allah
تَوَكَّلتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Translation: "I place my trust in Allah, there is no power and no strength except by Allah."
Dua for overcoming your weaknesses
اللَّهُمَّ قَوِّنِي وَجَعَلْنِي مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ
Translation: "O Allah, strengthen me and make me among the patient."
Dua for parents
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَرَحْمَتَكْ
Translation: "My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy upon them."
Dua for patience
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي صَابِرًا فِي الْمِحَنِ وَالْبَلَاءِ
Translation: "O Allah, make me patient during trials and afflictions."
Dua for praising Allah
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Translation: "Glory be to Allah and with His praise."
Dua for protection and help from Allah
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي فِي حِمَايَتِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, make me under Your protection and mercy."
Dua for protection from ignorance
اللَّهُمَّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الجَهْلِ وَالْغَفْلَةِ
Translation: "O Allah, save me from ignorance and heedlessness."
Dua for protection from oppressors
اللَّهُمَّ حَسِّنْ حَالِي وَحَالَ أُمَّتِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, improve my condition and the condition of Your Ummah."
Dua for protection from Satan/Shaytan
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشَرِّهِ
Translation: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Satan and his evil."
Dua for protection from the wrongdoers
اللَّهُمَّ اجْنِبْنَا مَنَاكِرَ الْمُنَكِرِينَ
Translation: "O Allah, protect us from the harm of the wrongdoers."
Dua for rain
اللَّهُمَّ صِبْ عَلَيْنَا غَيْثًا مِّنْ رَحْمَتِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, send us rain from Your mercy."
Dua for reciting at Al-Mash'ar Al-Haraam
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لِي قُرْبَةً وَرَحْمَةً
Translation: "O Allah, make this recitation a means of closeness to You and mercy."

Translation: "O Allah, accept my repentance and forgive me."

Translation: "O Allah, bless his wealth and life."

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِي رِزْقِهِ وَفِي طَعَامِهِ
Translation: "O Allah, bless his sustenance and food."

اللَّهُمَّ جَزِهِ خَيْرًا وَبَارِكْ فِيهِ
Translation: "O Allah, reward him with goodness and bless him."
Dua for success
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ النَّاجِحِينَ
Translation: "O Allah, make me among the successful."
Dua for thanking Allah (SWT)
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ مَا قَدَّرْتَ
Translation: "O Allah, all praise is due to You for what You have decreed."
Dua for thanking someone
جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا
Translation: "May Allah reward you with good."
Dua for the deceased at the funeral prayer
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِمَيِّتِنا وَارْحَمْهُ
Translation: "O Allah, forgive our deceased and have mercy on him/her."
Dua for the night of destiny (Lailatul Qadr)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Translation: "O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive me."
Dua for this world and the Aakhira
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation: "Our Lord, give us good in this world and in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire."
Dua for travel
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِي هَذَا أَنْ تَسَاهِلَ لِي فِيهِ
Translation: "O Allah, I ask You in this journey of mine to make it easy for me."
Dua for your child's protection
اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْ لِي أَوْلَادِي وَاجْعَلْهُمْ صَالِحِينَ
Translation: "O Allah, protect my children and make them righteous."
Dua for forgiveness for your parents and all Muslims
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِجَمِيعِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me, my parents, and all the believing men and women."
Dua for forgiveness for your siblings
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِإِخْوَتِي وَأَخَاتِي
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me and my brothers and sisters."

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي قَوِيًّا فِي كَلَامِي وَأَقْدَارِي
Translation: "O Allah, make me strong in my speech and abilities."
Dua if you fall on hard times
اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَمَلِي
Translation: "O Allah, Your mercy is my hope."
Dua in the last moments of one's life
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ وَتَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَالْحَقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ
Translation: "O Allah, make me among the patient, cause me to die as a Muslim, and join me with the righteous."
Dua in times of happiness
اللَّهُمَّ جَعَلْنَا شُكُورِينَ فِي الرَّخَاءِ وَالصَّبِرِينَ فِي الشِّدَّةِ
Translation: "O Allah, make us grateful in times of ease and patient in times of hardship."
Dua for increase in knowledge
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Translation: "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
Morning remembrance
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَبِمَا جَاءَ فِي كِتَابِكَ وَفِي سُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ
Translation: "O Allah, I begin this day believing in You, in Your Book, and in the Sunnah of Your Prophet."
Dua to offer Salah regularly
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ فِي صَلَاتِي
Translation: "O Allah, make me among those who are steadfast in their prayers."
Dua on hearing a bad news
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لِي خَيْرًا وَفِي مَا تَرَاهُ خَيْرًا
Translation: "O Allah, make it good for me, and in what You see is best for me."
Dua on hearing good news
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لِي بَرَكَةً وَمُفَاجَأَةً طَيِّبَةً
Translation: "O Allah, make it a blessing for me, and a pleasant surprise."
Dua on hearing Athan
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْقَائِمَةِ
Translation: "O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer that is about to be established."
Dua upon sighting of the crescent moon
اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالإِسْلَامِ
Translation: "O Allah, make this moon rise upon us with happiness, faith, peace, and Islam."
Dua of Pledge to Allah
اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا عَمَلَنَا وَاجْعَلْهُ خَالِصًا لِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ
Translation: "O Allah, accept our actions from us and make them solely for Your noble face."
Dua for protection from foolishness
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ السَّفَاهَةِ وَالْجُهْلِ
Translation: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from foolishness and ignorance."
Dua to seek Allah's guidance
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ هُدَاكَ وَرَحْمَتَكَ
Translation: "O Allah, I ask You for Your guidance and mercy."
Dua to seek Allah's satisfaction
اللَّهُمَّ رَضِّنِي بِقَضَائِكَ وَبِمَا تَفَعَلُهُ
Translation: "O Allah, make me content with Your decree and with whatever You do."
Dua to seek forgiveness and protection from hell
اللَّهُمَّ اجْنِبْنَا النَّارَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ فِعْلٍ
Translation: "O Allah, protect us from the Fire and from anything that brings us closer to it, in speech or deed."
Dua to seek protection from culprits
اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ مُؤْذٍ وَمُفْتَرٍ
Translation: "O Allah, protect us from every harm and every person who causes harm."
Dua to settle a debt
اللَّهُمَّ اقْضِ عَنْيَ دَيْنِي وَفَارِجْ هَمِّي
Translation: "O Allah, settle my debts and relieve my worries."
Dua to strengthen your Imaan
اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْ إِيمَانِي وَقَوِّ قَلْبِي
Translation: "O Allah, strengthen my faith and make my heart firm."
Takbeer when passing the black stone
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Translation: "Allah is the Greatest."
Talbiyah
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ
Translation: "Here I am, O Allah, here I am. You have no partner, here I am."
Dua to alleviate pain
اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِهِمْ وَعَافِهِمْ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْهُ
Translation: "O Allah, cure them, relieve them, and pardon them."
Dua to be a pious Muslim
اللَّهُمَّ جَعَلْنَا مِنَ التَّوَابِينَ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Translation: "O Allah, make us among those who constantly repent and among the righteous."
Dua to keep your family safe from transgressors
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي بَيْتِنا سَلاَمًا وَرَحْمَةً وَعَفْوًا
Translation: "O Allah, make peace, mercy, and forgiveness in our household."
Dua to make us practicing Muslims
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَقُومُونَ بِفَرَائِضِكَ وَيُؤَدُّونَ سُنَنَكِ
Translation: "O Allah, make us among those who fulfill Your obligations and perform Your Sunnah."
Dua to trust upon Allah
وَتَوَكَّلتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ
Translation: "And I place my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord."
Dua upon drinking milk
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
Translation: "O Allah, bless it for us and increase it for us."
Dua upon entering Home
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فِي بَيْتِي هَذَا بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ
Translation: "O Allah, I ask You to bless this home with Your mercy and blessings."
Dua upon entering Mosque
اللَّهُمَّ فَتَحْ لِي بَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, open for me the door of Your mercy."
Dua when One Sees Someone Sneezing
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاهُ بِهِ وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا
Translation: "Praise be to Allah, who has granted me health, and preferred me over many of His creation."
Dua upon hearing thunder
اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْلِفْنِي بِغَضَبِكَ وَسَحَابِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, do not let me be cursed by Your wrath, by Your clouds, or by Your mercy."
Dua upon Leaving Mosque
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خُرُوجَنَا مِنْهُ لِغَفْرَانِ ذُنُوبِنَا وَإِيمَانِ قُلُوبِنَا
Translation: "O Allah, make our departure from this mosque a means of forgiveness for our sins and strengthening our faith."
Dua upon reaching the Yemeni corner during Tawaf
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ وَنَحْنُ لَا نَعْلَمُ فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَصَارِحْ قَلْبَنَا
Translation: "O Allah, You know while we do not know, so forgive our sins and purify our hearts."
Dua upon seeing someone going through a trial or tribulation
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْهُ حَسَنَاتٍ وُجُودِ
Translation: "O Allah, make me benefit from the trials of others and grant me reward for it."
Dua upon sneezing
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي شَفَانِي وَعَافَانِي
Translation: "Praise be to Allah, who has cured me and given me relief."
Dua when a loss occurs
اللَّهُمَّ جَعَلْنَا مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ وَالرَّاضِينَ بِقَضَائِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, make us among those who are patient and content with Your decree."
Dua when at Mount Safa and Mount Marwah
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا حَجًّا مَبْرُورًا وَذَنْبًا مَغْفُورًا
Translation: "O Allah, make it an accepted pilgrimage and forgive our sins."
Dua when beginning a meal
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ نَأْكُلُ
Translation: "In the name of Allah and with His mercy, we eat."
Dua when beginning the Fast - Seher
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ لِرَمَضَانَ
Translation: "O Allah, I intend to fast tomorrow for Ramadan."
Dua for deceased
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَمَرْحُمِي
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me and have mercy upon me."
Dua upon completing ablution
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
Translation: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the One with no partner."
Dua when dining at someone's house
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مَا رَزَقْتَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَرَحْمْنَا
Translation: "O Allah, bless us in what You have provided us, and forgive us and have mercy on us."
Dua when entering market
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, I ask You for Your grace and mercy."
Dua when feeling frightened
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Translation: "O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You."
Dua when given a drink
اللَّهُمَّ أَسْقِنِي مِنْ حَوْضِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Translation: "O Allah, give me to drink from the Prophet's (PBUH) pond."
Dua when going to Mosque
اللَّهُمَّ فَتَحْ لِي فِي بَيْتِكَ رَحْمَتَك
Translation: "O Allah, open for me Your mercy in Your house."
Dua when in distress
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ هَمٍّ وَحَزَنٍ
Translation: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all grief and sorrow."
Dua when Leaving Home
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Translation: "In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, there is no power and no strength except with Allah."
Dua when looking into the mirror
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ حَسَنٌ وَجْهِي وَأَحْسَنْتُ صُورَتِي
Translation: "O Allah, You are the Best of those who shape my face, and You have made it beautiful."
Dua when offering condolence
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ وَعَافِهِ فِي آخِرَتِهِ
Translation: "O Allah, make him from the people of Jannah and grant him peace in the Hereafter."
Dua while Opening Fast
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلتُ وَبِكَ فَطَرْتُ
Translation: "O Allah, I fasted for You, I believe in You, I place my trust in You, and with Your help, I break my fast."
Dua when placing the deceased in the grave
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَمَغْفِرَتِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, place him in Your mercy and forgiveness."
Dua when prostrating
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
Translation: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."
Dua when responding to Salam
وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Translation: "And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings."
Dua when returning from a long journey
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ رِحْلَتَنَا مُبَارَكَةً وَمِنْ أَيْسَرِ رَحَائِمُ
Translation: "O Allah, make our journey blessed and our return easy."
Dua when sacrificing an animal
اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا وَاجْعَلْهَا حَجًّا مَبْرُورًا
Translation: "O Allah, accept from us and make it an accepted pilgrimage."
Dua when sitting between two Sujood (Prostrations)
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي
Translation: "O Allah, forgive me and have mercy on me."
Dua when sitting in Prayer (Tashahhud)
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
Translation: "O Allah, send peace and blessings upon Muhammad (PBUH)."
Dua when someone insults you
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي صَبُورًا وَغَفُورًا
Translation: "O Allah, make me patient and forgiving."
Dua when someone praises you
اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِمَا يَقُولُونَ وَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Translation: "O Allah, do not hold me accountable for what they say, and forgive me for what they do not know."
Dua when starting ablution
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Translation: "In the name of Allah."
Dua when stricken by tragedy
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي رَاضٍ بِقَضَائِكَ
Translation: "O Allah, I am content with Your decree."
Dua when throwing stones at Jamaraat
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا تَكْفِيرًا لِذُنُوبِي
Translation: "O Allah, make it a means of expiation for my sins."
Dua when visiting the graves
اللَّهُمَّ غَفِرْ لِحَيِّ وَمَيِّتِهِ
Translation: "O Allah, forgive the living and the dead among us."
Dua when visiting the sick
اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِهِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Translation: "O Allah, heal him with a healing that leaves no trace of illness."
Dua when wearing new clothes
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِي هَذَا
Translation: "O Allah, all praise is due to You, You have clothed me with this."
Dua when you are in need
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Translation: "O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You."
Dua when you are nearing your death
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَبْرِي نُورًا وَفِي حَشْرِي فَرَجًا
Translation: "O Allah, place light in my grave and relief in my gathering."
Dua when you fail or lose at something
اللَّهُمَّ لا سَعَادَةَ إِلَّا فِي رِضَاكَ
Translation: "O Allah, there is no happiness except in Your pleasure."
Dua when Waking Up
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَحْيَيْتَنِي وَإِلَيْكَ مَرَجِعِي
Translation: "O Allah, by Your grace, I have awakened, and to You is my return."
Dua while prostrating before Allah (in Sujood)
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
Translation: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."
Dua while returning from travel
اللَّهُمَّ صَارَتْ رِحْلَتُنَا بَرَكَةً وَأَيْسَرَ
Translation: "O Allah, make our journey blessed and our return easy."
Dua when Wearing a Garment
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ حَمْدٌ وَأَنْتَ لِبَاسٌ جَمِيلٌ
Translation: "O Allah, all praise is for You, and You are the Most Beautiful garb."
Manzil
Recite the Manzil for protection from harm.
Dua during Hajj
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ
Translation: "Here I am, O Allah, here I am."
Sneezers replies back
يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللَّهُ
Translation: "May Allah have mercy on you."
Dua while having relation with wife
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي وَإِيَّاهَا مَنْ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ
Translation: "O Allah, make me and her from the people of Jannah."
